Powerful integrated analytical tools allow rapid creation of custom components.
Custom components are rapidly defined from first principles by specifying the mathematical equations. The Custom Component Template helps you to analyze the behavior of the new component, define how that component can be connected to others, and then, with a click of a button, make that component available in MapleSim for use in your models.

With MapleSim, you can:

  • Define the behavior of your component using your choice of standard mathematical notation: differential equations, state space representation, or transfer functions
  • Use built-in tools to analyze and verify the component behavior before adding the custom component to your model
  • Define domain-specific connection ports using point-and-click menus
  • Document your work to ensure that the thought process behind the component design is kept together with the component itself
  • Compile libraries of custom components to use in future projects and share with your colleagues
