the model

Live design documentation ensures that the thinking behind your work is preserved, and offers an environment for experimentation, performing “what-if” scenarios, and recording the background, design constraints, and other pertinent information for your model. Using the Maple technical document environment, you can access the model equations and perform analysis and other tasks to better understand, fine-tune, and document your model.

  • MapleSim comes with Maple templates to help with analysis, code generation, custom components, data sets, equation generation, and optimization.
  • Maple documents are “live” – values can be changed and computations and plots are updated.
  • MapleSim allows you to save and restore parameter value sets for experimentation.
  • Documents associated with the model can be in any format, including Maple design documents, Word and PDF technical papers, and spreadsheet data files.
