I just wanted to tell you what a difference I found in your math class from any other math I have ever taken. Last semester I didn't always make the time to do my math homework and because of that my grades suffered. I finished with a 70, my lowest mark. In your class, the Maple T.A. tests you offered made such a huge impact on my approach to learning. Every week I made myself sit down and do the Maple TA tests until I understood the material. I didn't realize how beneficial this was until studying for the final exam. I found myself able to remember everything I had learned from the very beginning. Studying was just a "refresher", not a struggle. My mark ended up being 88% this semester, up 18% in one semester!!! That's the highest mark I've ever had in calculus! Higher then what I got in high school! I didn't think that would ever happen.

I strongly believe that Maple has spoiled my expectations for other mathematical tools. I have used both Mathematica and Maple at work and school. I found that Mathematica could not compare to the ease of use, features, and the beautiful plot generation and manipulation that Maple 10 provided. The last version of Maple I used was Maple V; I am now using Maple 10 and am amazed at the enhancements. People, especially those who are new to using mathematical tools, should try Maple 10 – they will surely be surprised at its features and ease of use compared to the other software packages.

Since I began using Maple, the learning has become easier, which of course translates into being able to learn more, more quickly. I feel so fortunate to have such a learning tool.

Super software. The changes to the user interface in Maple 10 make it very accessible and easy to use. So much so that I have switched from Mathematica to Maple and am already more productive after barely any learning curve. Thanks for a great product!

I am very impressed with GOT's capabilities with its very easy-to-use Maple-based interface and its power in solving very difficult global optimization problems....I would recommend the Global Optimization Toolbox to anyone who deals with nonlinear optimization problems in operations research, engineering, economics or other applied sciences.

It takes a lot to impress most jaded software reviewers, especially with a product that we first reviewed in 1989. But we were totally blown away by Maplesoft’s Maple 10 mathematical package.

The new Maple interface is the most exciting development I've seen in high-end mathematics packages in several years."... "Any Maple user will want to upgrade to version 10, and users of similar products will want to give this new version a very close look.

I rarely do my kind of mathematics without having Maple open and my hands on the keyboard! It was my use of Maple as a working tool that caused me to take it into my teaching. In fact, most of what I hear and read about Maple is how someone is using it to explore calculations too tedious for humans. Using Maple in research is a natural consequence of its power.

Because of its flexibility, its versatility, and its rich spectrum of capabilities and because at least its more elementary capabilities can be quickly learned, MAPLE plays a critical role in helping us achieve our goal of graduating physics majors who have substantial skills in using computers to pursue their studies.

Used imaginatively, Maple can help students learn better and faster, and help prepare them using the mathematics technology that they will need throughout their professional lives.

Until now, I used Maple only occasionally – when I needed heavy symbolic manipulation. With Maple 10 it’s a completely new story. Solid numeric solvers and the new statistics package – as fast as anything on the market – Maple 10 does it all!

The idea behind Maple 10 is to reduce the learning curve and to shift high-level symbolic and numeric mathematics away from being considered a burden to its becoming viewed as an enabling competitive advantage. I think the people at Maplesoft did it.

Maple 10 is an amazing tool that any student who takes math should have. Not only does it help you get better grades, but it also makes math fun.

Preparing system models by hand for use in Simulink® can be laborious and error-prone, often taking up to 80% of the project time. With BlockBuilder for Simulink, projects that would have taken days to complete are turned around in a matter of hours.

I came into university lacking confidence in math, and Maple has been invaluable for checking my answers. This has been made even better with Maple 10. The tutor feature for a lower-level math student like myself is amazing. If I'm getting something wrong I can easily spot where I've made my error. It's excellent. Maple 10 also seems a lot easier to use. Thanks, for making this excellent software and making math bearable.
